This year for the Memory Project, AP and Advanced Art students created portraits for kids in Cameroon. The Memory Project is a nonprofit organization that invites art teachers and their students to create portraits for youth around the world who have faced substantial challenges, such as neglect, abuse, loss of parents, and extreme poverty. A few weeks ago, we received word that the portraits were successfully delivered (video below). Thank you to the artists who participated: Sofia Aguirre, Julian Alonzo, Bryan Argueta-Heredia, Charlin Bravo, Iracema Cobian-Sanchez, Miranda Gonzalez, Ben Hermosillo, Edwin Iglesias, Amalia Juarez, Victoria Leanos, Moises Martinez, Daisy Martir, Juliza Molina, Ashley Perez, Sarai Rodriguez, and Ahitza Zepeda.
